WOW! Yesterday I shot one of my favorite Idols of all time, Elvira The Mistress Of The Dark. Elvira has been somebody that I have always always (twice) dreamed of working with because not only is she a pop culture icon she is a huge icon to me personally and tremendous source of inspiration as an artist. Living here in Los Angeles her presence is everywhere. I mean just go to Hollywood Blvd and I guarantee you will see one of three Icons anywhere you go Mickey Mouse, Marilyn Monroe and..........Elvira. We shot portraits for the new la Eyeworks campaign as well as images for both of us to have. She was absolutely electric, her energy was fantastic and she really captivated everyone that was on set. Can we please talk about how INCREDIBLE she looks. Everyone had a huge toothy grin when we were shooting her. She was Everything I wanted her to be and more!
